To make the most progress, I ask your child to write an essay each week as well as fill in worksheets.

Hi, I'm Jade
If your child is not reaching grade level or you want them to excel beyond their grade level, reach out to me to talk. My passion is to see the light in a student's eyes when suddenly they understand.
I will encourage, motivate and spur your child on to success.
My aim is to ensure each child has a strong foundation in spelling, grammar and punctuation. We work on this in a wholistic, step by step system.
Alongside this, I specialize in improving writing for middle schoolers so they master creative, expository, persuasive and responsive writing.
My family moved to the UK from Hong Kong when I was 5 years old. So I understand how it feels to not understand the language. But 3 years later, I was excelling in my grade level.
I have taught English as a Second Language (ESL) for over 25 years to children and adults in India, England and Canada.
I know how it feels to have English as a second language at school, but also how it feels to excel.
